Attire & Golf Guidelines

Golf or resort attire is recommended during all daytime events. Dress for the Wednesday welcome reception, Thursday dinner, and Saturday dinner is resort casual. Attire for the Friday night Wine & Lifestyle Auction is cocktail/business. Course attire recommendations and requirements are below.

Non-golfers joining the Friday kayak tour and lunch are encouraged to wear layers and sneakers and bring a hat and sunglasses. Splash gear and dry bags will be available.

The Links at Spanish Bay, Spyglass Hill Golf Course & Pebble Beach Golf Links:

Proper golf attire for men is a collared shirt or mock turtleneck, slacks or walking shorts, and proper foot attire, i.e. golf shoes or tennis shoes (no sandals or flip-flops). Golf shoes should have soft spikes. The same attire applies for women, except a collared shirt is not required.

Non-Golf Program

Our non-golf program is designed to appeal to a wide range of interests, tastes, and abilities.

On Thursday, our non-golfers are invited to a sushi rolling class, led by Pebble Beach Resorts Chef Augustine Lopez. Guests will be joined by local ProStart students for a friendly sushi roll and plating competition. After the lesson, guests will enjoy lunch and taste their creations.

On Friday, non-golfers will embark on a guided tour of Monterey Bay. The tour will begin in the heart of the Cannery Row kelp forest and then paddle to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Coast Guard Pier, where otters, harbor seals, and sea lions are often spotted, as guides share insight on the area and wildlife. Once the tour concludes, guests will enjoy lunch overlooking the Bay at the Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa.

On Saturday, non-golfers will have the opportunity to hit the putting green at Pebble Beach Golf Links for a putting contest. It’s a larger green than any out on the course, and a great opportunity to roll a few putts. Take aim at prizes on the green. If you hit it, you win it! After the contest, guests will join golfers coming off the course for a luncheon before heading back out for afternoon free play. Guests can organize their own pairings and experience the number one public golf course in the country at their leisure.

The Spa

All non-golfers will receive a gift card to use at The Spa at Pebble Beach. The value of the card will cover the cost and gratuity for one 50-minute service.

You are encouraged to book your appointment in advance by calling 800-877-0597 and referencing the “Ted J. Balestreri Leadership Classic.”

If you plan to take the Pebble Beach Shuttle to The Spa, please allow 30 minutes for transportation.

Weather

It should be a beautiful week in Pebble Beach! The forecast calls for highs in the mid 50’s and lows in the upper 40’s with a chance of rain. Nevertheless, the weather is unpredictable, and we suggest bringing layers and checking the forecast before packing.
