The National Restaurant Association and the Educational Foundation provide restaurant, hospitality, and foodservice workers with a wide range of education, training, and certifications to help you begin and advance your career in the industry.


The National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation is dedicated to enhancing training and education, career development, and community engagement for individuals in the industry. Our programs include: ProStart® – a high-school career and technical education program; Restaurant Ready/HOPES – providing “opportunity youth” with skills training and job opportunities; Military – helping military personnel transition their skills to restaurant and foodservice careers; Scholarships – financial assistance for students pursuing restaurant, foodservice and hospitality degrees; and the Restaurant & Hospitality Leadership Center – accredited apprenticeship programs designed to build the careers of service professionals.
