National Apprenticeship Week – November 13-19, 2023
Empowering Workers, Building Careers: Restaurant Industry Celebrates National Apprenticeship Week
This week, the NRAEF is honoring the value of restaurant apprenticeship in building industry careers for workers from all backgrounds. The celebration will happen as part of National Apprenticeship Week, a multi-industry effort led by the U.S. Department of Labor to highlight the successes and value of Registered Apprenticeship for building the economy, advancing racial and gender equity, and supporting underserved communities.
From Monday, November 13 through Saturday, November 19, we’ll focus on how restaurants are blazing new apprenticeship paths and empowering workers – including young people, underserved communities, women, and veterans – to build their careers through the NRAEF’s structured, hands-on training programs that it operates within the Restaurant & Hospitality Leadership Center.
Check back here for stories, articles, and resources each day throughout National Apprenticeship Week.
